Randy was born in Greenwood, South Carolina, and grew up in Greenville, South Carolina, where he graduated from Wade Hampton High School. While in high school, Randy earned both academic and athletic block letters. Randy attended Clemson University where he was on the Dean’s List. Randy worked with a large manufacturing company headquartered in the southeast where he worked as a project engineer. The knowledge and experience gained from his industrial background would later prove to be invaluable to Randy and his clients who were injured in workplace accidents.
Randy left the corporate world to begin law school at the University of South Carolina School of Law. While in law school, Randy demonstrated exceptional skills in oral and written advocacy, and was selected for membership in the Moot Court Bar. Upon graduating, Randy went to work for a mid-size law firm in Spartanburg, South Carolina, where he practiced in the areas of Civil Litigation, Corporate Law, Real Estate closings, Wills and Probate. Randy soon opened his own law firm where for many years, he represented personal injury cases for those who were injured on the job or through the negligence of others.
Randy brings well over 20 years’ experience in the legal profession with him to HawkLaw. Randy has successfully handled civil litigation in both state and federal courts.
A graduate of Leadership Spartanburg, Randy has been active in church, civic and community affairs at all stages of his career, and has held numerous leadership positions in a number of organizations. Randy has one daughter, a senior in college. In his spare time, Randy enjoys reading, watching classic movies and following the exploits of his favorite sports teams. Randy is an avid fitness enthusiast and enjoys working out at the YMCA on a daily basis.
