About Drew Evans
Drew was born and raised in the Charleston area. He graduated from Clemson University in 2009, and the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2012. Following law school, he clerked for the Honorable Edgar W. Dickson in Orangeburg, SC. He then spent over 5 years at the Ninth Circuit Solicitor’s Office in Charleston where he prosecuted over 1,200 cases and tried approximately 30 jury trials.
In 2018 he left the Solicitor’s Office to go into private practice, focusing on personal injury, general civil litigation, and criminal defense. He joined the HawkLaw Firm in 2020 and enjoys being a strong trial advocate for his clients, currently focusing his practice on personal injury litigation. He has successfully litigated cases in over half of the counties in South Carolina in Circuit and Magistrate Courts and the Federal District of South Carolina.
He lives with his wife and two sons in Charleston where they are active members of the James Island Presbyterian Church. In his free time, Drew enjoys singing with the Charleston Men’s Chorus, cooking and eating the delicious food South Carolina and Charleston have to offer, and pulling for the Clemson Tigers!
