Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) means creating a workplace where every individual is valued, supported, and given a fair chance to succeed. At our firm, DEI isn’t about politics; it’s about people. It’s about treating clients, employees, and community members with respect, removing unnecessary barriers to success, and making sure that everyone has access to the same quality of service and opportunity.

We believe that building a team with different backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences helps us better serve our clients and strengthens our work as a whole. We take deliberate steps to ensure that our workplace and community outreach reflect our core values of fairness, accountability, and service. DEI at HawkLaw is about action, not just intention.

At HawkLaw, we’re integrating DEI principles into our everyday operations and leading by example.

  1. Language Access for Clients. We have Spanish-speaking staff or translation services available so non-English speakers feel understood and respected.
  2. Hiring and Vendor Practices. We make an effort to interview diverse candidates for all roles.
  3. Flexible Work Arrangements. We provide flexibility in work schedules for caregivers, parents, and employees with disabilities.
  4. Recognizing Juneteenth as a Paid Company Holiday. HawkLaw observes Juneteenth as a paid holiday, reaffirming our dedication to honor Black history and promote racial equity within our firm and the broader community.

I started HawkLaw over 20 years ago with the mission of giving everyone an Amazing Client Experience, no matter who you are or where you come from. HawkLaw fights for the rights of the average person against wrongdoers and insurance companies. We seek to even the odds and to hold the wealthy and powerful accountable.
